![]() ![]() I'm on the Insider Fast option and I've tried the Slow which also has one update showing as available. What I would like to know is: "Can the Microsoft Autoupdater be removed from my Mac and then downloaded/re-installed again?" However his instructions were wrong because it's not a re-installation Qing is suggesting, but an update! The same process that fails for me. ![]() Leaving me back where I started from which is as mentioned in the first paragraph.Ī previous post that Qing replied to says that perhaps the Autoupdater should be re-installed. I've turned 'check for updates automatically' off and then on again as I read somewhere that this can resolve this problem, I deleted the Microsoft Autoupdate which kind of messed things up with my Office program updates but 'put back' the deleted files, I have a problem with the Autoupdater on my Mac in that there is an update available and each time I perform the update, it installs and yet, the version is not updated and I will still get a flag to say that there is an update available for Autoupdate.
